The Fabulous Fifties (Bob Mason Room, 1st floor)

A nostalgic look back to a decade of great change in the lives of ordinary people.  In the Fifties new ideas in fashion, music and interior design brought about a transformation within the home and on the dance floor.  From Coronation mugs to cocktail shakers, rock & roll records to radios, all these - and more - are on display.
